Elements and Performance Criteria

1. Determine job requirements

5. Use equipment for precision measurement

6. Check the accuracy of the measuring equipment
7. Use correct and appropriate measuring techniques
8. Interpret readings and measurements
9. Maintain precision equipment
   • Set up equipment to specifications utilising manufacturers' specifications or standard techniques
10. Adjust and maintain measuring equipment to required accuracy, utilising manufacturers' specifications or standard techniques
11. Undertake care and storage of equipment to manufacturers' specifications or SOPs
